Computers computers…COMPUTERS
Thursday, June 29th, 2006I enjoy computers in moderation… but 42 is a lot of computers to set up at one time. (link to their specs’s post)
But having said that… I am SO VERY THANKFUL for these new additions to the Northland fleet!
As of today (the 29th) we have all but 8 systems unpacked and powered up and running.
Now we still have to get the software installed properly and the units they are replacing get deployed throughout the campus.
(basically the new computers end up in the classroom/lab and then the oldest systems throughout campus gets replaced)

And of course all those unpacked computers
produce a lot of trash! What a mess!!

Today I had the privilege of serving in Rhinelander, Wi at Faith Baptist Church.Â
This church is a “church plant” of my home church in Pembine and this was my first opportunity to see the work. |

| Mr Coats preached the morning message and the congregation gave me the opportunity to sing a solo. We went out to dinner with a charter member family from the church and then drove over to see the new (old) church building that they will be occupying in two weeks. This building has been a major answer to pray. It was given to them with no strings attached by another church that was disbanding. | |
