One of these days I am going to shock everyone by actually getting back to blogging. Like the rest of the world I have been experimenting with facebook… but I have serious reservations regarding its uses. I do think it has its place… but it is NOT a blog or online journal.

I do believe it is in my best interest to be disciplined in keeping this blog updated… so I will get back to it.

It would appear that I have lost links to most of my previous posts links (I hate computers sometimes) … Oh well, yet another learning experience!

I had to jump into this blog today because I got hit by a spammer with some trashy post.
Anyway… back to work!

I have no time for posting right now… and for the next few weeks! I will need a lot of prayer over the next few weeks and through out the semester. The fall semester is the busiest semester for me overall. I will post my schedule grid when I have a little time next week.

I have such a thrifty Mom… she even washed her straw from Indiana
and was going to save it for the rest the week!
(as if we Wisconsin people don’t have straw’s… right Franny)

 

I told my Mom… that NOTHING is to good for her…
and that I will spare no expense for her… and … Hey!!
… use a new straw… everyday if you want!!!
I really know how to spoil my dear mother!

Nothing beats a day out with my mom!!
I had the opportunity to take her to a quilt shop in Crivitz

 

Then we drove to Iron Mountain to do more shopping!!
It was a lot of fun … really… no Really… I really, really … REALLY
enjoyed myself … a lot!

We had many other adventures on this fun filled day…
…I will have to post/post them later!
(when I recover!)

None of that … ya cant teach an… well you know what I mean!

My mom is a technology wonder… (no really… I wonder!)

She was so happy to learn how to surf the web with a tablet PC!

She did just great… and ended up checking family blogs
a few times throughout the week! It is so much more fun with DSL

And we used the tablet twice in the week
to “Google talk” with the audio chat with Kim in China.
